Full Member

Full membership is for active academics and professionals who wish to participate fully in the association’s activities, assemblies and decision-making.

Conditions

  • Support the mission and values of AOAAS
  • Academic or professional background related to education, research or human rights
  • Complete the registration form with accurate information
  • Membership is subject to review and approval by the association

Honorary Member

Honorary membership is conferred on individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the goals of the association. It is by invitation or nomination and does not include voting rights.

Conditions

  • Recognized contribution to academic freedom, education or human rights
  • Nominated by a Full Member or the Board
  • Approved by the association leadership
  • Contact us to propose a nomination
